Trying to relate initiator; the room with human scale and I observed that scaling, duplicating, multiplying operations and negatively scaling the room caused different purposes of rooms and spatial qualities.
Case study
Space 10 design an office in Copenhagen where they aspected to develop seeds and vegetable inside of office with settings of light and natural light. It gives a sense of natural resources is used with human made resources. I realize that this kind of design gives an impression to people vegetation is not only used for outdoor spaces, it is also used, developed and grew in indoor spaces. It is like a contrasting nature, however it handle with urban problems where vegetation is controlled by a citizen.
Black sheep designed for experimental produce. It based on data storage of food, and they collected different types of stuff to create and develop food industry. It gives an impression on storage and production spaces work together with a “research center”. Visitors find a taste and they have chance to produce and commerce it, it benefits human experience on “work”.
Lastly, I tried to define Airbnb offices designed as multipurpose work room and work environment. It designed for officers, however they tried to relate work spaces and serving spaces different types of work rooms. It gives the space privacy, and they tried to connect private spaces visually. On the other hand, working environment overflow to service spaces. It defined with people usage and furnitures, with separating working equipments.

Workroom in Bursa
In 6th academic project year, Bursa, Reyhan is chosen for project. We are expected to design a multi purposes project to interact citizens with workroom. In project, firstly, site excursion and analysis is done. On project, khans and bazaars are impressive. They are attraction points where is so fluid and extravagant circulation on there. So, mapping is created in that manner. Also, researching about Bursa gave that, Bursa expand narrower. And also, khans are headquarters of the city throughout the history. It gave reference that old and new city, bazaars, and all the other buildings which includes sticked and located near khans. When considering on that metabolisms in historical maps and today’s Bursa map, we understand that these structures create bazaars, and because of the attraction point, they increased day by day. However, it affected Bursa Hanlar Bolgesi as a multipurpose city center. In that case, project shaped through this idea, which served and gather Bursa citizens. Project definition shaped as “supporter node point”.
After that, this project should sustainable project environment because of its purpose. In that manner, center of the site, production plug in is located, other program elements defined around production. Then, structure systems stated and create grid 7×7 to attach other program elements, which is require for sustainable design. To define program elements, through references from city and researches, temporary accommodation for the visitors whose supporters for the research of iron and silk production; production center to serve workrooms, workshops and researches to develop iron and silk production, and commercial offices to serve citizens and visitors to exhibit their final products. On the other hand, archive and data storage are main elements for the program because for the researches, and also because of the sustainable project, it should serve for recycling storage for iron, silk and cotton to reuse them; administration offices will serve for regulating the hole program; meeting points and leisure spaces will serve for learning environment of the project. Because of that, eating facilities, underground car parking and serving spaces of the program will be designed through program elements location.
After critics, project should be turned into biennale concept, rather than reinforced concrete grid system, it will be more contemporary element, and rather than one main mass, it will be main biennale where connects all program elements. Jury refered that it will more sustainable design option than first proposal. Because, biennale is renew itself year by year with different aspects.
