Case: work in a room, or work room?

Work: to perform or carry through a task requiring sustained effort or continuous repeated operations

Throughout the definition of work; I tried to relate working with space, and it’s spatial meaning of it.

Actually, work starts with operations, and firstly workers should define the work, as then it’s space will develloped. Non-working conditions will held around definition of work. For an example, officers work in office, and they mostly eat out, at restaurants or elsewhere. Basicly, working and leisure connected to eachother. Also, we can accepted that attending exhibitions are leisure conditions for outsiders, but it is working condition for organisators and devellopers. Also, working and leisure is integrated eachother.

However, rooms are non-flexible space usage in todays world, workroom is new definition to design spaces between work,leasure and activity. It provides blur working and leisuring condition in space, gives free working conditions to arrange workers to their ergonomic workspace.

After panel critics, I decided that I should leave one permanent structure and small temporary units, I decided that I should reference the Khan’s void, however I used contrastly, then I designed a pit. Actually, it gives a permanent void and program elements designed through this void. Refer to Uzun Çarşı I decided a spine which recommends linear superstructure with rythim.
